Planning Vung Tau beach in the future
The area of Bai Sau beach on Thuy Van street, Vung Tau city, will be embellished, building squares, walking streets, food villages, amusement parks, and beaches for the community.
Perspective of Thuy Van street is planned towards a high-class sea area with many green spaces.
The planning scope of this area is from Phan Chu Trinh street to Nguyen An Ninh, 3.2 km long, 250 m wide from Thuy Van road to the mainland, 100 m to the sea. The area is about 78 hectares, of which 25 hectares are the beach.

Currently, on a 28-hectare land along the coast of Bai Sau, there are 9 businesses hiring for services, but tax debt is more than 320 billion VND (according to the 2018 inspection conclusion). Up to now, only 5 units have committed to handing over the site, with an area of nearly 11 hectares, the rest are complaining about compensation and support.
Vung Tau City People's Committee said that after the province approves the compensation and support plan (about more than 100 billion VND), businesses that do not hand over the premises will be coerced.
The city will then plan to embellish and invest in this area with the goal of returning public space to residents and visitors, building a high-class destination.
In the future, the square will be more than 10,000 square meters, with the symbol of a phoenix and a glass bridge facing the sea for visitors to walk around and take photos. With a capacity of 8,000-10,000 people, the square will be the venue for city events.
The beach restaurant areas are arranged alternately between the green areas. A road connecting the entire length of the beach side will be built.
The city proposes to make a walking street with community services such as a water park, swimming pool, outdoor cinema, restaurant, water park, landscaped swimming pool, community space...
The functional areas are divided into 6 spaces and themes for: nature, family, youth, nightlife, festival, community and art.
Fresh water shower poles serving guests have just been installed by the Vung Tau city government after demolishing temporary works, illegally built on the land of a business.
Public toilets are installed by Vung Tau City on the return area to serve visitors free of charge.
